BRIQUETTING MACHINE

Agni Engg. & Industries making the machineries for the conversion of agro and forest and other wastes called AGNI brand Bio Mass Briquetting Presses We make wide range of machines from 500 to 1400 kg/hr capacity version. The briquetting press is a reciprocal crank type mechanical press with two flywheels. One flywheel is driven by the main motor through continuous flat belt. Forced lubrication oil circulating system guaranties a long service life. The ground material is fed through a hopper by means of a screw conveyer with its own geared motor. The vertical screw pre compresses and forces the material downwards in to the feeding chamber. From the chamber the material forced by the ram through a tapered die system on to the cooling track in the form of briquettes.

The Process

Material has high moisture content needs to be dried either by sun drying or using separate flash drier(optional). The raw materials then mix as per convenient. The mixed raw material has fed to vertical screw conveyer. The conveyer taken the material to chamber of briquetting press. Then the material is compressed by the press by forcing it through the die with tapered bore. The compression raises the temperature of material, softening the lignin which is inherent in every biomass. The lignin come into the surface and binds the material together. Briquettes formed are shape of logs, which are pushed through cooling tracks under slight pressure for cooling and transport to packing point, where the briquettes are packed and stored for dispatch.

The machines are fabricated at AEI´s state of art Hitech workshop equipped with all facilities and in house CADD centre for designing. The industry is managed by team of professional engineering graduates.
